We maintain and store the personal information you provide in compliance with the Act respecting Access to documents held by public bodies and the Protection of personal information.
The information you provide will be used and stored solely for purposes of communication and, if applicable, for fundraising. Personal information is always stored under utmost confidentiality; it is neither given, nor sold, nor communicated in any other way to another agency without the donor’s or client’s preauthorized consent.
Transaction security
The Fondation de la faune du Québec uses the services of Netbanx for online donations. All transactions using the form on the Paysafe Netbanx site are secured by the “Transport Layer Security (TLS)” protocol. All personal information transmitted at the time of your transaction, including your credit card number, are subject to encryption. The Entrust seal, a small, locked padlock at the bottom of the navigation widow, as well as the URL address beginning with “https” rather than “http” indicates that the page on which you are processing your transaction is protected.
Paysafe is an accredited partner with Desjardins. Netbanx is subject to the « Data Security Standard » (DSS) of the Payment Card Industry (PCI) related to data security. According to the terms of this standard, retailers and service providers who stock, process, or transmit cardholder and banking data must comply with a strict set of requirements.
We remind you that it remains the web user’s responsibility to clear the cache memory of their navigator following each transaction. This constitutes a secure practice for Internet transactions.
