Jean-Claude D’Amours has a bachelor’s degree in recreation from the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières, a certificate in administration from Université Laval, as well as training in administration from the École nationale de l’administration publique.
During his career, he has worked in both the private and public sectors, in various fields. He has been alternate teacher, tourism promotion agent, project manager, hospitality and accommodation director, marketing director, as well as financial advisor. Finally, in 2005, Mr. D’Amours became director of the Fédération québécoise des gestionnaires de zecs (Zecs Québec), a position he held for nearly fifteen years.
