The Fondation de la faune du Québec and its partners are proud to present the online interactive training on sports fishing in the context of its Pêche en herbe (initiation to fishing) program.
This program is intended for youth 6 to 17 years of age and their families, as well as for the proposing organization coordinating activities as an initiation to sports fishing.
YOUTH 6 TO 17 YEARS OF AGE AND THEIR FAMILIES :
Youth who wish to obtain their Pêche en herbe (initiation to fishing) certificate, which constitutes a valid fishing permit until they are 18 years old, must register for the training program through a secure connection. After successfully completing the training program, the certificate may be downloaded. You may keep a digital copy of the certificate or print a copy to keep with you when you go fishing. It will be important to always have either a digital or paper copy of your Pêche en herbe (initiation to fishing) certificate when you are fishing.
! IMPORTANT !
Youth who already have a Pêche en herbe (initiation to fishing) certificate must always consult the online training program to update their knowledge on sports fishing, by clicking on anonymous connection.

PROMOTING ORGANIZATIONS :
The online interactive training program is also intended for promoting organizations who coordinate activities of initiation to sports fishing for youth 6 to 17 years within the context of the Pêche en herbe (initiation to fishing) program.
The promoting organizations may use the online training program as an educational tool. To do so, click on anonymous connection.
The training program is also offered in PDF version so that promoting organizations can offer this training where there is no Internet connection.
